Activated Carbon Filter
Activated carbon filters are generally employed in the process of removing organic compounds and/or extracting free chlorine from water, thereby making the water suitable for discharge or use in manufacturing processes. Eliminating organics in potable water, such as humic and fulvic acid, prevents chlorine in the water from chemically reacting with the acids and forming trihalomethanes, a class of known carcinogens.
Activated carbon has been historically used for removal of Odor, Oil , free
chlorine, organic matter and colour from water. Further our expiries lies in
making available both Domestic and Industrial models of Activated Carbon
Filter, it also used as per treatment system post treatment system in Waste
water treatment plants ( STP & ETP ).
Activated Carbon filters offered by us are used for eliminating bad taste, odor as well as chlorine residue in water. This excellent filter media has carbon granules of high iodine value that helps contaminants to get absorbed to surfaces of carbon particles.
